The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the provisional answer key for the NEET UG 2025 examination, which was conducted on May 4, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the answer key, their individual OMR response sheets, and recorded responses through the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
How to Download the NEET UG 2025 Answer Key
- Visit the official NEET UG website: neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link titled “NEET UG 2025 Provisional Answer Key.”
- Log in using your Application Number and Password or Date of Birth.
- View and download the answer key, OMR sheet, and recorded responses.
- Save copies for reference and use them to estimate your score
Objection Window and Fee Details
Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key or their recorded responses can submit objections from June 3 to June 5, 2025, until 11:50 PM. Each challenge requires a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question. Payments can be made via debit card, credit card, or net banking. Objections submitted without the processing fee or through any mode other than the online portal will not be accepted.
Post-Objection Process
All challenges will be reviewed by a panel of subject experts. If any challenge is found to be valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly. The final evaluation of results will be based on the revised final answer key. Candidates will not be individually informed about the acceptance or rejection of their challenges. The decision of NTA will be final, and no further communication will be entertained after the deadline.
Exam Overview
The NEET UG 2025 examination was conducted in a single shift from 2 PM to 5 PM at 5,453 centres across over 500 cities in India. More than 22.7 lakh candidates registered for the exam.
