Urban Company Earned Leave Policy
All regular employees at Urban Company are entitled to avail of 27 leave days in a year. The list of holidays is provided at the beginning of the calendar year (i.e. 1st January).
Urban Company Casual Leave Policy
Urban Company allows its employees to take 7 days of paid casual leave in a year. Employees are required to apply for each leave and get approval from their line manager in advance. Employers can also choose to refuse leave requests, if not satisfied with the reason. However, for emergency cases, there is no need to take any approvals.
Urban Company Sick Leave Policy
Earlier, employees at Urban Company used to get 14 days of sick leave in a year, but now the company has removed the cap on sick leave.
Recently, as part of an employee-centric initiative, Urban Company now offers an unlimited sick policy to employees suffering from any mental or physical illness.
Urban Company Maternity and Paternity Leave Policy
Female employees at Urban Company are entitled to a maximum of 12 weeks of paid maternity leave. Out of 12 weeks, six weeks of leave have to be availed after the actual date of delivery.
Paid paternity leaves are also provided to newly became fathers. The company offers two weeks of paternity leave to male employees.
Urban Company Privilege Leave Policy
The company offers five days of privileged leave to its employees. Privilege leaves can be used to take some time off work to relax and focus on one’s well-being.
Leave without Pay at Urban Company
If an employee at Urban Company has exhausted their leave balance and the situation demands them to take a leave, in that case, the leave is granted by the employer as a loss of pay. Such leaves may also get adjusted against future leave or treated as a special case depending on management discretion.
